Welcome to Goomtee Resort. The Darjeeling Tea Garden Resort. Located at Mahanadi, a quiet railroad station of the World Heritage Darjeeling Railway, the resort is a must visit for those in search of a "total getaway".

Located at the lush green Tea Gardens of the group owned Goomtee Estate in the Mahanadi, the resort is a short break from reality - back in time.

The Goomtee Bungalow was built by Mr. Henry Montgomery Lennox as residence for his family.

He chose the most attractive location with attractive views on all sides.

 Over the years the bungalow was expanded and renovated extensively while maintaining the original character.

Please remember, Goomtee Resort is not a commercial venture, rather an invitation from the present owners to experience the life of a Darjeeling Tea Plantation.

 In 1956 the Kejriwal family and Mr. Mahabir Prasad jointly acquired the property. Since then, the Bungalow has served as a residence for the visiting Directors and their families.
