Here, the cottages are situated inside the forest, but only 85 mts from the main  road that bifurcates the thick forest. The above 85 mts look like a canopy. The resort area is fully protected by barbed wire fencing and power fencing. The Naalukettu restaurant and some of the cottages are facing the reserve forest. The drive to the resort from Kattikulam town (Kerala) or Kutta town (Karnataka) is also through the forest which takes less than an hour. Also important tourist attractions like Kuruva Island, Tholpetty Forest, Pakshipathalam Mount, Irippu Waterfall and Kalindi River are nearby. 12.5% tax is applicable on room tariff.
